J. T. Ward Joinery  specialise in custom-built staircases in an extensive range of beautiful hardwoods or hand- picked softwoods. With  many years experience, we can  transform almost any architects drawing or even the simplest sketch into the staircase of your desire. Whether it’s to match a simple design or a more complex one like the image on the right, we have the design sense and the skill to complete the process. We can also design and produce matching skirting boards, architraves or any other item in hardwoods or softwoods.

From cut string, open riser, quarter turn, half turn, bull nose geometrical to continuous, we have  extensive knowledge of staircase manufacture. We also assist with building regulation compliance to ensure that your staircase meets current legislation.

All our staircases are made to measure using your chosen materials and hand crafted using traditional methods and can include handrails with volutes and easings  etc.
